Had someone ask me if I knew how to get a search engine back. He said there isn't one at his disposal @ home page. What can he do to possibly get it back? His ISP is ATT Yahoo.com

Lost search engine

I'm not sure I understand? What does he mean there is no search engine at his disposal?
Just type in to the address bar of the browser should be enough.
Or if he prefers,
Perhaps a little more explanation would be in order?
Did he maybe loose his home page for the browser? So it opens up to something different when he double clicks it?
Is he maybe not able to browse the internet?
We really need more information to even begin to troubleshoot this.

Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

I'm going to take a guess and say that somehow his default home page got set to blank and he thinks the search engine is gone.
If that's the case:
For Internet Explorer
Open Browser
Go to Tools>Internet Options
Will be on General tab
Set a new target website in the Home Page box
For Firefox
Open browser
Go to Tools>Options
Set a new target website in the Home Page box
Rinse and repeat for other browsers you might use
