lost media librairy 1

my backup server totally crashed. The server had been rebuilt but i can't restore from the backup tapes since they do not show in the media librairy. Is there a way to restore files from a tape that doesn't appear in the medial librairy ?

This should work regardless of the version you have, but it would help if you posted the version when you have a problem.

1. Inventory the tapes
-right click on each slot, select Inventory
2. Catalog the tapes
-right click on each slot, select Catalog
