Lost mailbox no backup

Hey,

We have just taken over another company who do not have a backup of ANYTHING. They just lost there best salesman who deleted all of his proposals from his mail account on the way out. Is there any way of getting back this data without a backup (I Know I'm reaching here).

Depends how long ago he deleted the items and what the deleted item retention time is set to on your exchange server.

As I said depends what your deleted item retention time on your Exchange server is set to. To see if you can recover the items logon to his email account in Outlook select Tools the Recover deleted items. Good luck if it doesn't recover anything then I think you've lost them unless you have any old tape backups.
