Hey, need some help with Outlook Express.
I started up my computer the other day and started outlook express 6 and I lost two identities that I had previously added. Only the main identity is left. Whenever, I try to add the identities back, and it asks if i want to switch to that identity now and i click yes, error comes up "The current identity could not be changed because one of the applications was unable to switch. Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again." Another weird thing, the main identity address book was cleared. I searched for .wab files and found two: one that was named "default" with all the old addresses for all three identities and one that was named "addrbook" for the current addresses in the main identity.
In addition, microsoft word stopped working on the same day. Upon clicking it to open, "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
Hope someone can help.
Thanks,
-Jeff-
P.S. I'm not sure if I can uninstall both programs and reinstall, because I have neither on CD. Both came with the Cox Cable package we got a few years after we bought out Dell comp.
