Hello, I have a relly big issue with a mai ldb file.

For some reasons that are not very important the id file this person used to access her email got lost, and i mean cmpletely lost.
So, we found one in an id repository and tried to install it on a r5 client, with no luck. The database cannot be accesed by the id file we found. OK, so we wanted to somehow extract the email and recreate the user.
But... the administrator user (that's me) cannot acces the database file either! the "you are not authorized to.." message shows up when trying to open the db...

what can i do?
it seems as if the user was created by another admin... or the adminsitrator's name for this db was incorrectly set...

any help is greatly appreciated...

need I to say that those emails CANNOT get lost?

thanks!

from the server you can run Nlnotes.exe. it's like a client for the server. login using the server password and you should be able to open the database and add yourself to the acl.

This is a good backdoor if you ever get locked out of a database cause your opening it with the server id.
