Hi, I was making changes to several tables, one with a recordset not updateable error and repaired it with the dynaset(inconsistent updates) so I could enter data. This may not be related. However, since then I can no longer access the design view selection under view when in the forms section. Yet if I open certain forms I can get access to design view then. Looking for suggestion.

Just a few hints:

1. Inconsistent updates and lost design view are not related
2. Inconsistent data will result sooner or later in other hellish problems, so better repair your data and find out why the query was not updateable.
3. Your MDB might be damaged: create a new MDB, import all database objects, re-create the relationships and references and try to re-design the bizarre form again.
4. It might be possible that the form itself is damaged. In this case it will be (probability 90 %) impossible to import it to the new MDB. In this case you have to take a backup or (hopefully not!) re-create it from scratch.

I hope this helps you!

Thanks for the help, it is indeed a faulty form which I repaired late last night. Great
