Loss of Data in Table

I have two sets of users on a Network based system (I believe Linux (groan later, k? heheheh))... A user entered information via an MDE linked to the Data Tables - roughly six rows of information...

When our user in Dallas opened up the same information at a later date (a couple of days to a week later), 5 of the rows disappeared completely... I mean GONE... I looked at the raw data tables and it was like the information was never entered, HOWEVER, if it wasn't for a report we had printed prior to the data being looked at again, we would never have known the data was lost...

I know seeking the information on this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but when it was presented to me as to "where" the data went, I suggested that the data lost is what actually comprises the rings of Saturn (along with lost socks in the dryer and lost luggage)... However, they believe that there is a way to program to prevent this - I can only shake my head...

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
