Losing Printers in WIn2k

Hi,
Some of my users lose their printers when they power their w2k box down and restart. The spooler service starts but the printers are not recognised. Their are local and network(IP) printers

This does not occur if they logout and back in again. Stopping and restarting the print spooler fixes the problem.

Any ideas appreciated,
