loosing time

i have a intel 440lx chipset based motherboard
it keeps on loosing time
i have changed the battery
resetted the bios a hundred time
what could be the problem???
anyone suggest me

May be the clock crystal aging. Set the time in cmos, boot to dos, leave it for a while , check dos time, then check cmos time. If cmos time has gotten off, then the hardware clock is the problem. If DOS is wrong, then a problem in interrupt handling.
Suggesting that the DOS be used because there are some software packages that jigger interrupts that can make the clock appear to fail. Ed Fair
