Loosing computer account in 2003 domain

When I add a new pc into our domain (2003)about 1hr or two later the computer account is no longer valid in the domain.In order to fix this issue I need to remove the Pc from the domain rename the computer to something else. Reboot, rename it back to the original name that I actualy want and add it back into the domain. Finally that works well. What gives?
