When it rains, it pours!
Just looking for any information you can share on this issue. I have two loops (local) that were getting slips and bi-polar violations, worked with local carrier to "test" loops, no problem found on their end. During the trouble shooting, one loop (all 23 B-Channels) are in FE MBSY state. My vendor could not find any problems on the PBX (81C), so we re-initialized the PBX. All the errors have cleared, however the B-channels on that loop are still in FE MSBY. D-Channel is Enabled, carrier sees all B-channels on his end in "idle" state. Any ideas, suggestions on clearing the state in the PBX and making them "idle" again? Thanks in advance for your help!!

wronge move on the ini, the problem is far end maint busy. love it when techs ini a switch and it doesn't come back up. there has never been a time when a working switch needed an ini instead of commands or maint. what are you seeing on the alarm status? and what does the loop di if you try to bring it up to a loop? another question is the far end pbx says they can't see a problem? it might seem a little hard to believe that the remote end is up and working unless they can call out on it..

because you mentioned 23-b's, i assume it's a pri. ld 96 dis dch x auto on the d, then ld 60 disl x on the loop. if you don't have a loop back, just take a 8 cond jack and connect 1 to 4 and 2 to 5.. plug that in to your rj45 on the back of the switch. then ld 60 rcnt then enll x on the pri.. about 45 seconds later you should see dchannel est, then d channel rel wronge mode. that's the normal response to a loop back.. if that happens and your not taking hits ld 60 lcnt, your end is clean, make your end normal, call the far end and have them put a loop back to you. go through the test again, with the same test. if you don't get the same response, the trouble is on the loop. if not try sending the loop back the other way..

Hey, I have exactly the same problem. Have done all the loop tests and the circuit "looks clean" (during loopback). Otherwise, I am seeing SLIPD errors and all my B-channels are in FE MBSY. Interesting thing is that the B-channels went from IDLE into FE MBSY at the rate of one or two channels per day. While they were idle, both incoming and outgoing calls completed fine. I have Opt 11C & telco is using Lucent 5ESS. Maybe I have a clocking problem?

Using clock controller on DTI in slot 1. Problem circuit is the PRI on a TMDI card in slot 4.

Here is my clocking:
Code:
.ssck 0
ENBL
CLOCK ACTIVE
CLOCK CONTROLLER - LOCKED TO SLOT 1
PREF - 1
SREF - FREE RUN
AUTO SWREF CLK - ENBL
NO ERROR

IP DB PORT 1 DSBL
IP DB PORT 2 DSBL
IP DB PORT 3 DSBL
IP DB PORT 4 DSBL
CABINET CLK SRC: CC
And here is my D-channel for the PRI on slot 4:
Code:
ADAN DCH 14
  CTYP TMDI
  CARD 04
  PORT 1
  DES PAETEC
  USR PRI
  DCHL 4
  OTBF 32

I have tried both CO_TYPE= STD and ATT. Telco says everything looks fine from their end. By the way, I can receive incoming calls over these channels with no problem (including my callerid name & number!). But outgoing calls will not route over these channels while in a status of FE MBSY. Both Telco & I have tried disabling and re-enabling the loop as well as the individual B-channels. I am at a complete loss. You guys are awesome. Don't let me down.

Hello
I also get this problem a couple of time.
I then try to RCNT in LD 60. Sometimes it corrects the problem.
Sometimes i tried to run midnight routines LD 135 MIDN and logout. That MY solution.
Hope it will help you....
