Loop sound gaps 2

I can't seem to get rid of the tiny gap (pause) between the end of a loop and the beginning. How is this accomplished?

If this is still about you streaming sound, you can always try to reduce the silence, if there is one, at the beginning or end of the original mp3... But I doubt that would solve the problem.
Means longer download, although 250KB is not that long anyway, but turn it into an event sound where you'll have a better control.

Oldnewbie...No..no, I took your advice and "evented" the MP3 and set it to loop but there's a gap that I can't get rid of.

Even if you loop it with a go to & play a different frame number?

There's only one frame in the entire movie and it's the sound clip. It's a loadMovie action from the main movie but all that works fine.
Even in the Flash sound editor playback the gap persists. I even clipped out that wierd little beginning line Flash likes to put at the beginning of sound files.
I also tried different loops...same thing.

Well... Just went through the whole process and here are the results:

Can really edit a loop in Flash... So used a sound application (Goldwave not to mention it's name...) that permitted me to check the 6 secs. loop I was trying to create from a 4 minute song. After adjusting the cut as best as I could, I outputed that 6 secs. cut.

Created my 1 frame "sound movie" and imported the cut in Flash. Double-click on the 1 sound frame and set loop to 1000. Although a bit boring after a while, it is after all only a 6 secs bit repeating, it sounds good to my ear! But I'm no musician.

Once this done, all you have to do is load this sound movie into your other movie, but do add a mute button in case some user doesn't like it!

So my guess is that your original cut is at fault here! Once you've solved that, everything should sound great!

Wow...I don't know what to say. I've done it over and over with several loops. I really appreciate your effort!

I use (CoolEdit..not to mention it's name either) but I have an example here in which I've downloaded a somewhat popular loop which I've heard on several sites working good.

Yup..Your wav works perfectly. I guess you were right about it being the sound cut.
I'm just afraid if I give you a star before the question is resolved you won't come back. So far you are at 100% with my questions.
