Here's what I'm working with:

+ Windows 2003 Server with 2 NICs (add-on card disabled, can be enabled if need be)
+ DNS & DHCP disabled on server (these services running through LinkSys WRT54G router with Alchemy firmware)

Net connections are like this:

Server 24 PORT switch router DSL
+--------------+-----------------+--------+

Server: 192.168.1.100 (DHCP reserved)
Router: 192.168.1.1 (static)

I'm trying to get RRAS working but am having a hell of a time getting things to work properly. I can get VPN to work but as soon as I connect, the locally attached workstations can no longer see the server. I'm at my wits end. I've even gone as far as to just use the connection wizard to create a Incoming connection via VPN but that doesn't work either.

I've gotten VPN to work but it munges the internal network so the port forwarding is correct, I just haven't got the rest setup properly.

Is there a way to get RRAS working with DNS and DHCP disabled on the server through the 1 NIC?

2 NICs w/o DNS + DHCP services on server (handled by router)?

Or do I have to run DNS and/or DHCP on the server to get this to work?

TIA
