The CEO of our organization would like to find a mobile technology solution where he can work 100% in his office and 100% at home. It is fairly important to him that this mobile technology (whether it be laptop, PDA, etc) be small and easily portable. Lets say he has an unlimited budget.
For capabilities, he needs to be able to run the following from this mobile device: Excel, Powerpoint, WP and Word, possibly calendar/scheduling, modem, and LAN. If possible, MP3 support would be nice too.
Is there something available where he'd have a workstation at home, a workstation at work, and a mobile device that easily transfers data between the two? Possibly some kind of synchronization could occur?
The reason I'm asking is that I'm not too familiar with mobile technology and would appreciate any advice or helpful suggestions. Specific product recommendations to accomplish the above task would be great as well.
