Looking for repo command

Have you tried searching the Ubuntu package repository? The web site lets you select your version and key words.
If you put 'repo' into a terminal in Ubuntu 10.10 it tells you that it is not a command and suggests rep and repl all from the Universe repository.
The link that I provided you in my earlier post makes reference to git. From that thread and my own search results, I suspect that it is NOT in an Ubuntu repository but rather is associated with the Android programming platform, which might be another place to look.
Lastly, in case you haven't, try Ubuntuforums.org, though if I am not mistaken you are a regular there.
