I am looking for multimedia audio controller driver for Win XP. I just formatted my drive & went from 98 to XP. I have a Monorail PC with sound on the motherboard. Does anyone know where to get 'generic drivers' if they exist? PC manufacturers site was NO help.

You're going to have to figure out who makes the sound chip that's on your motherboard before you can do anything. Also if the bios has a setting for sound blaster compatible mode, enabling that might allow for Windows to auto-detect the sound card as a sound blaster.
