I need to make a diagram of all forms in my database and what subforms/tables/queries/macros are being used by them so I can develop a hierarchy of relationships throughout my database. The goal here is to have a document ready to be referred to if something needs to change or be deleted in the database.

Are there any programs out there that will do this? I've played around with Visio, but I couldn't seem to get it to do anything with my forms. It would be nice if the program is free, as my department's budget is zero right now.

Thanks,
Dana

Have you tried /tools/anylize/documentor ??/ You can choose which objects to document and to what detail. When you see the report in pront preview, go to file/save as and choose table. Access wil create a table called object definition. You can then build queries based on this table.

To do a graphical representation, Visio is the way to go. It won't actually interact with access though, you'll have to draw a representation of the forms and label accordingly.

You COULD printscreen the individual forms and paste them as objects into Visio then you'd have pictures of the forms for people to view.
