I just purchased a Dell Inspiron 8100 which has the Home Version of Windows XP on it. I've partitioned my hard drive and created an image of the system partition. But when I went to back up my data I could not find the Microsoft backup utility.

I see from the MS XP website that this utility is included in the Porfessional version of XP only. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to download it from somewhere (I could not find it on the MS download page) or of another utility that can be used for backing up to a CD.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. I also discovered with help from another individual that the NT backup software is on the XP installation disk. (Just in case someone with the same question reads this post someday.)

IT is on the CD under addon or value or utils , it's there called nt backup.

Thanks, that is what I am looking for!
