Fellow Geeks,

This is for anybody looking for a challenge. I've got this Epson PowerLite 5000 projector. (Not your typical PC part unless your a hardcore gamer) The power supply appears to be dead. Thing does not turn on. I popped open the casing and found it has a Sony Model # PS361 APS-96 power supply. Does anybody out there know how I can go about replacing the power supply in terms of finding a place in the US that would sell such a part?

Thanks in advanced,

I'm not familiar with the unit you have but most projectors have a safety switch inside the lamp access door to prvent people from electrical hazards when changing the lamp. If the switch is bad or the door is not seated properly the unit will not power up.
Good luck

Being a Sony model number maybe Sony might help you? try visiting their cust. site and if that don't work ring em, if they made it they either warrant them, fix them, or have parts for them. They should at the very least point you in the right direction. Win2000 Network Administrator
