After having 6+ Years exp. of Microsoft Access, I am now interested in getting more involved in DYNAMIC Websites, I have 'dabbled' with HMTL, ASP, PHP, MS-SQL, MY-SQL and to be VERY honest it looks like a Simple Feature Rich Website takes too much time and effort only to get little results.

What I need it a Rapid Website Development Environment / Solution to use and then publish or export the 'Application / Website'.

Basically I do not care what Technology I am using, I simply want to programme the 'Application / Websites' logic and Business Processes.

I want to KIS (Keep Is Simple), KIF (Keep It Functional) and obviously make the Development Life Cycle as Easy as Possible so I can concentrate on selling the solution.

Basically In Microsoft Access (I Really Love It), I can knock up applictions quickly and efficently and get GREAT results FAST, basically what Product/Solution should I be using to get Dynamic Rapid Website Development underway???

Many Thanks In Advance ...

You might want to take a look at the software developed by Gatsby Software, which dynamically generates a web interface (using ASP on IIS) to any Access db, working solely from the database structure. I don't know how much modification you can make to it, but it looks like what it does fits pretty well with your "keep it simple" strategy. You can check it out at . I'd be interested in hearing from people who have actually tried using Gatsby as a web enabling solution. (I myself haven't.) -- Herb

Here's a link to another automatically-generated web-enabled database solution, this one uses CGI on a mySQL database:

mySiteMaker looks far less comprehensive and less impressive to the user than Gatsby, but it might prove to be a good solution for certain problems. It's open source and itself uses open source software (i.e., mySQL), if that's any consideration. -- Herb

I haven't tried it myself yet but have you looked at easyBASE? There's a downloadable version that should let you try it out. Let me know how it works out because it sure did look simple!
