I have seven Definity ACDs and I want to implement some long distance cost avoidance programming. Specifically, when I user dials a long distance number that is actually local to one of the other ACDs, I want the call to route over long distance between sites (cheaper rates) and out a local trunk at the far-end site. The long distance rate between our sites is half the cost when compared with the long distance rate from a site to the customer. The ACDs are all at release 11, and all of our trunks are ISDN-PRI. I do not have TIE lines between the ACDs. All of the sites use 4-digit dialing between each other. The UDP, AAR, and route patterns add the missing digits before routing the call. I have read through the documentation on nodes, locations, etc, and I am still lost. We have the following options (yes) on the customer parameters screen: DCS (Basic), DCS Call Coverage, DCS with Rerouting, and Multiple Locations. Thank you for your help.
