Logs that have dates

Is there anyway to have the dates show up of the data input when I run >show log?

If not is there another way I could get dates of when the up/down states are happening along with any errors?

router#(config)service timestamps debug datetime
router#(config)service timestamps log datetime

make sure you've configured the date and time on the device

router#clock set HH.....
