I only get this error message with laptops. Error message is 5719 (Netlogon), No domain controller avaliable to validate your logon. These are W2K professional laptops logging into W2K ADV.Server DC.

Microsoft suggests they are logging in using cashed credentials, but when I run the "set" command it does verify that they are being logged in by the server.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Are you getting any kind of event errors on the server?

CoolClark,
I just checked the server, all is clean expect from IIS 5.0 is out of licenses(which I wish I could stop also). But the server has been running smooth the last few weeks with no errors...

Thanks

Got rid of the IIS errors, any other suggestions?? I have gone through all of Microsofts quick fixes to no avail. On the same machines, I also get these errors:

Event ID:1000
Userenv1000
Windows cannot access the registery information at
\\domainname.com\\sysvol\domainname\blah\blah

Event ID: 1001
Description: Security policy cann ot be propagated.
Cannot access template. Error code =3
\\domain\sysvol\domain\poilicies\blah\blah

Event ID: 1000
The group ploicy client-side extension Security was passed flags (17) and returned a failure code status of (3)

I have tried many, many Microsoft articles on this and I can't seem to get rid of it.
