My win98se computer logs on to an NT domain (or should!). Over the last few days it has taken to periodically refusing to show the logon dialog that Client for Microsoft Networks being set as the Primary Network Logon should produce - going straight to my desktop. I then do not have access to the domain.
I can 'cure' this by changing the Primary Network Logon to Windows Logon, restarting the computer, changing the Primary Network Logon back to Client for Microsoft Networks and restarting the computer again. At no time are any changes necessary to the properties of Client for Microsoft Networks.
Needless to say, I find this as tedious as it seems mysterious. Has anyone any ideas where to start looking?
