Ctrl+Alt+Del screen doesn't appear when booting a NT4 workstation => Can not logon. I can see only the blue-green screen without the logon screen. (I am sure that it isn't a hardware problem!) Can somebody help me before I reload the pc.
Thks!!!

Have you tried hitting F8 at the initial startup screen and booting to safe mode?

As well as Last Known Good, I assume. It sounds to me like some sort of a driver issue. when the machine is in this state can you ping it from another machine on the network? Can you access the default shares on it? It would be interesting to know just how far "up" the workstation is; however, realistically, unless you have some sort of telnet or ssh service running on it it will be very difficult to coax it out of it's coma.

If you can see it on the network and access things like the C$ share you might want to try going in to server manager on one of your domain servers to see if you can bounce services. Perhaps even try and get the (free) pstools suite so you can poke the winlogon process. These are all really just last ditch effort things to try while you locate your installation media, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
