I have installed a logon loader application to customise my logon window(for business one). I'm not usually a big mod guy(for just this reason)

I know how to disable it. But I need to access my registry... is there a way to mod my registry through another windows os(dual boot)

or

To modify the logon script to use another type of logon

It would help it you gave details of what you've installed, what it does that you don't like and what you want done (and how it works). Also, what is the dual boot o/s (I'm assuming main one is XP as this is XP forum)? Are you on a network?

We are all trying to guess what your nightmare is. Nevertheless if it happened recently System Restore might restore your sanity.

bassman4 > if your other OS is Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 or XP you can use regedt32 and load hive the registry from your other operating system.

Actual registry is stored in C:\Windows\System32\Config

*Remember to unload hive when your done.

I suppose you could have this done by writing a program to access the registry files as well.
