Logon Failure

Hi,

I have Windows 2000 Adv Servers and W2000 Pro workstations and on the workstations, we are coming up with the error below on all our W2000 PC's:

"Logon attempt with current password failed with the following error: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."

Your help in resolving this is greatly appreciated.

Is this happening when users try to log on, or when they try to access resources? Could be either the "log on locally" or "access this computer from the network" permissions....

After they login to there PC's.

Has this always happened, or did it just start. If it just started, can you think of what's changed. I've seen something very similar on a failed dcpromo. Glen A. Johnson

are you running any logon scripts? Roaming profiles?

I've setup and SMS Server recently.
