Does anyone know if it's possible to define a logoff script for one user? I know that logoff scripts can be assigned to a GPO, but that script then affects everyone affected that GPO. Can a logoff script be assigned to one domain user?

hi,
I don't know, but for login purpose (I belive may go also
for logout) I have used an unique script with a

A section: begin common part
B section: specific user part ( if %username% = user1 ....
C section: end common part

I have used simply script.cmd, but you can use special
script as kix... or other.

bye

create a gpo with only the logoff script in it. apply it to the the ou that the user is in and in the security of the gpo deny everyone access to it you don't want the logoff script to work on.

thanks for your input victorv and ksukenny. basically, what i was thinking of doing was doing the same thing ksukenny suggested, but wanted to know if i was missing something or if the possibility suggested. seems that ms should have made it as easy to define a logoff policy as they did a logon policy. but it seems as if they haven't. thanks again!
