Have a customer who is not able to login to the UCX. After entering the IP address of the system it takes them directly to the E-metrotel login page, however when they enter their user name and password it wipes it out. I don't think they are entering the wrong password.
is there a work around? or a reason why it will not accept a password?

It does that when you enter the wrong credentials so check the username and password. If you don't know what they are, you will have to contact emetrotel and ask them to reset the default login.

Of course you made sure they don't have their caps lock on, right?

I assume the problem is with the admin account. There can be several reasons:
1. The password is wrong
2. The system partition is full - with no space on the system drive, the GUI session file couldn't be created
3. The SSD drive or hard drive in the system is failing and the file system was changed to the read only mode - the GUI session file couldn't be created

If it's the first case, you won't be able to login using SSH with the admin account credentials. If you can login using SSH but not using the GUI, it could be the second or third case. I would also recommend you to contact the E-MetroTel support.

Contacting Emetrotel is not an option. I asked them to shut the system down and restart, have not heard from them so I assume all is well.
