login using cached account

Say you were logging onto a domain and got a message saying that no domain controller was available to validate your username and password and that you were logged on using cached account information. What troubleshooting steps would you do to resolve this?

Hi fjbables,

this might be a temporary problem. Maybe the domain controller is really not available (ask your net admin). I have this problem sometimes as well and retrying always helps or waiting until network problems are resolved by the net admin.
