Login to SQL Server problem... HELP !!!!!!!!

I am having a problem getting my SA login to work. When I go to log in, it gives me an error message that says: login failed for sa REASON: not assosciated with a trusted SQL server connection. How in the world do I fix this problem ???? Any help would be appreciated.

You are trying to login using NT security rather than standard security. Give us details of how you are trying to connect (Query Analyzer?) and we'll give you follow up advice if you need it. Robert Bradley

I am trying to connect through enterprise manager. When I go to edit the sql server registration and put in the password for SA to connect, it gives the error message. That is how I am trying to log in.

When you to the Edit Registration Properties window, select the option to use SQL Server Authentication, not Windows or NT authentication. Robert Bradley
