Login to Outlook 2000 it ask for a windows NT login

In my office we recently had to recreate our exchange 5.5 server on a windows 2000 server. For some reason whenever anyone logs into outlook it asks for a windows nt password, domain, and user account. About half of the users on the network can login fine using their network login password and user account name however for some of the users their network login passwords are not accepted. If anyone could help me figure out how to correct this problem It would be appreciated.

P.S. Currently to get around this I have been rebooting the exchange server and this seems to allow users to open outlook without prompting for this information. It seems to last for about a few hours and then begins prompting agian for this NT login window.
