Login to auto telnet to test box

Hi,

I created a user on my main system and added to it's .profile in the first line exec telnet ipaddress to automatically on login telnet to my text box where I can then login.

It states "trying.." and then times out. Yet I can login and telnet to that ipaddress without problem. Does this need to be added differently to the .profile or any other ideas on how to get this to work?

Don't do an exec first off. What are your *NIX types ?

What happen if you define the [tt].profile[/tt] like this:
[tt]
telnet MachineName
exit
[/tt]
?
