Ive just installed DB2 v8.1 personal edition for windows 2000. Im having problems connecting to the database.
I always get this error when I connect to the database:
Attempt to establish connection failed with security reason "24"
("USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD INVALID"
.
When I try to add my username to the database, it doesnt come up in the drop down list. I'm logged on the workstation via a domain. But im not sure whether domain usernames are supported with personal edititon.
Any ideas what to try anyone?
