Hi folks,
Got a problem on my HP-UX 10 server. When a user connects via telnet it takes upward of 3-4 minutes for the login prompt to appear. This does not happen on the console however, and I'm told it doesn't happen on all terminals trying to connect either. After logging in performance is normal. I think it's a DNS related problem as a major datacentre was taken out of the network the day it started happening, however I'm not really sure where to start looking. Where are the DNS settings on the server? Is there anything else I could check out that might help with this problem?
Thanks in advance

I'm only guessing but my guess work generally works for me.
