login box freezes in w95

I have a user that has a P.C logging into an nt server via a netgear hub . Sometimes the login box stays all grey and the computer freezes . Please does anyone know why this would occur ?

Sounds more like a PC problem than a network problem. A properly<br>running PC, when signing-on, should only display a message that<br>a server was not found, but not freeze. I would look in Control Panel<br>to see if the network card is set-up properly.

thanks for the reply Dave. I phoned the supplier and he new what the cause was . A bad batch of VGA cards went into their computers and the fault is one that doesn't occur straight away but intermitantly after several months . Vga board replaced and fault gone .<br>
