Hello, I have a server (win2k sbs sp4) that comes up with the error "the specified service does not exist as an installed service" when ever I click on the Disk Management icon in the comp mgmt console.

System is a Dell poweredge 2500 with a 3di raid card using 3 seagate scsi hdd's in a raid 5 configuration with one logical disk.

Any idea's appreciated.

Cheers

Dell has their own software for managing disks.
If I remember right, it is called 'Array Manager'.
When this is installed (probably pre-installed on yours), it takes the place of Microsoft's Disk Management.

It should be listed under START | PROGRAMS | ...
