Hi All
I wonder if it is possible to set up a computer so that I can choose at logon which network to connect to. Is this possible? Do I need any aditional hard ware (nics etc) or sortware. Thanks in advance :)

Some lead, some follow....I just Hope!

You need to define the need a little more. Do you have multiple domains that you want to log into? Don't they show up in the drop down list under the domain name?

What client OS are you running?

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.

Regards,

Mark

Hi I have two domains that I wish to log into, They do not appear in my drop down list, as they have not been set up (that is what I want to do)one domain is NT the other server 2000 both have XP pro clients.

Some lead, some follow....I just Hope!

OK, have you setup a trust between the two domains?

Join your workstation to whichever domain you want to act as your primary and if you have a trust between them, I believe the second domain should show up in the list too.

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.

Mark

Hi i was hoping not to have to place a trust bettween the two net works. I would like to keep them separate. I would like to be able at logon to choose to access either one or the other. Ta for your thoughts John ;-)

You could try setting up two trees with no trust implied, but you will still need permission to logon to the other one.
