Logging off hangs the PC

HEllo everyone!

I have a bit of a problem. I have a few users who can't logoff. The go to the start menu and logoff and the screen just goes dark and hangs there. But if you go and do a ctrl+alt+del and logoff from that screen it all works great. We recently upgraded from Pentium Pro 200's to PIII 800's. Using local profiles, and logging into a domain Controller.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
