Logging into a BCM remotely

BCM400 (or 200 or 1000) or BCM50 ?
If it is a BCM400 (or 200 or 1000) is the Remote Dialup Modem on the Front of the BCM connected to either a dedicated analog CO line or to an ATA?
Is the BCM on a Data Network, behind a firewall, is the BCM embedded firewall activated?
Lots of questions to ask, please supply more information.
