I am setting up Windows 2003 for two separate locations with separate domains. Some users will need to log in to both domains at separate times. Each user's computer has already joined both domains. Each user has Windows 2000 Professional or XP on their machines. Is there a way that the initial log-in screen (User name, Password, Log on to) can populate both domains in the Log on to: drop down menu so that they can choose which domain to log in to? I thought 200 and XP automatically populated every domain the computer is a part of, but this is not happening.

I don't think the PC's can be members of more than one domain as the SID is altered to reflect which domain it is a member of. If you create a trust between the two domains then both domains will appear in the logonto drop down menu.

Hope that helps.

A computer can only be joined to one domain. You need to set up a trust between the two domains. Then the two domains will show up in the drop down box at logon, and if the user has an account on both domains, they will be able to choose which domain they log on to.
