logging in not working properly

So here it is I have several .net apps running from My IIS server. All of which are restricted (Annonomus User disapbled). I have also done this for the wob root of IIS.

my problem is that when you load the main page that takes you to each app it does not ask for a username and password. but when I go to the Apps it does what do you think it is.
