Hello,
We have a couple of Win2K domains that are set in Mixed Mode. We have noticed quite frequently that when a non-win2K machine attempts to log on the DC rejects and displays the cached message.
Our win 9x users get the " no doamin controller error "
For the winnt client, if i just log off, and then attempt alogon we are in
For the win 9x client, hitting ESC and bypass the login and then log out, and then try and log in we are good.
On the DC we have selected Netbios over tcpip which microsoft KB recomends.
Our Win2K clients do not have this problem.
Thanks.
