Sounds like the application you're using is configuration file controled. Somewhere on your system it probably has a configuration file "text file" that specfies/defines a log file size limit. We have to find that file and change it. When you get the error message, look at the last few lines of the system log (/var/adm/SYSLOG). See if it gives you an idea where the problem might be. It may be cryptic, but it's a clue...
Also execute "versions long | grep -i flame". There may be a lot of output, but this also may help figure out where Discrete Flame configuration file is located.
