We have a small network and setup windows 2000 server domain controller with single Domain Name As "EXAMPLE" instead of "EXAMPLE.COM". Some how we had to reinstall windows 2000 server and configured this server as domain controller with new domain name as "EXAMPLE.COM". Rejoined all computers to new domain (This is the only domain dontroller for our network.) However Log On to this new domain takes about 15 minutes. Any body has idea to resolve this issue?

Run dcdiag.exe /v and nbetdiag.exe /v, nslookup to find errorst. Go through your event logs. Likely it is a DNS setup problem
