Log file incomplete

I have two IIS servers running (on two machines) I would like to log the referrer in the log file. I'm using IIS Log File Format and don't want to switch to W3C Extended.
My first machine logs the referring url and the second machine does not, as far as I can see there are no differences in the properties of the two web servers.
How do I get the referrer in the logs?
