log delay dialing out

Good Day to all I have an old OPT 11C rls 23.35, It seems that we get a 13-15 sec delay from the time we complete dialing the number to the time I get a reply from the CO. I changed the timers on the RDB but its still happening any ideas.

Have you tried dialing the ACOD 8000 and see how long it takes then

yep it seems to happen to any number we dial..

Your saying then that you dialed the ACOD 8000 and the phone number and there is a long delay before it connects.
If this is the case trouble is in Central Office.

I would try a LD60 STAT, to see the status of the trunks. How many are actually enabled.

If this is a new span, my gut feeling is a carrier issue - they probably have it provisioned wrong.

You can also use a CLS MTA set to TRK the trunks.

Are you getting a log of TRK messages on the TTY when you perform tests?
