Log changes in file/folder permissions

Hi,

Is there a way to monitor or log the changes that are made in the permissions on a file or folder ?
So if I set permissions to a folder I want to know when someone else makes changes to them.

Is this possible in Windows or with the use of additional software ?

Windows 2003 auditing will do this for you.
