Locking window size

As a novice I've created a website for my business:

But I can't for the life of me "lock" the window size so that the words, photos, etc don't move in relation to the users window or monitor size. What I'd like to do is seen here as an example:

No matter what you do on this site everything stays in place. Any suggestions would be greatkly appreciated! Thanks, Airpix

center the page, use px vs. %

start with:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

but I would rather that content adjust to my res. anyhow..why go the other way arround.
