Hi All

I am trying to setup Exchange2003 access for users who dial in to the network, and that side works fine until I try to lock down the ports they can access on the exchange server. Can anyone please tell me which ports I need to leave open to be able to run this set up more securely.

TIA Newbie to exchange and port stuff.

Cheers DDUUHH

if they are PPPing into your network, why do you need to lock it down?

there are quote a lot you'll need to open.

Hi Zelandakh

Sorry probably havn't explained very well.
They are using a remote office connection which authenticates them on the network. We (royal we, actually the telco) have locked them into specific IP addresses but my boss wants them locked into certain apps on those servers.

Admittedly their are no open shares or such like on the Exchange server but I want to limit their ablitiy to go anywhere they are not supposed to.

Thanks.

Cheers DDUUHH.
